Darling Dinky Daisy As Art.

Here are some photos that I created using a photo editing program to dress up one of Daisy's photos. Click on the photos to see them larger.

Pee-Wee, A Long-Haired Chihuahua.

This is my Sweetie Baby Pee-Wee. My husband named him Pee-Wee because he was the runt of Sadie's litter of 7 puppies and was only half the size of Duke when he was born. I've never known such a sweet gentle soul as this little dog. Over the years he's grown in size and now has a definite waddle to his walk. I love him dearly and everyday he looks up to me with those big brown eyes and hopes I'll take the time to pat him on his sweet little head. His fur is so soft, it's like stroking velvet. Please view a short video of my Pee-Wee having a waddle around the garden. The link is provided in my link list in the sidebar at the right side of this page.

Dinky Daisy Dons A Pumpkin Sweater.

[Post By Dinky Daisy] Well, it's that time of year again! Time when humans seem to go berserk and decorate every thing moving and not moving with pumpkins, ghosts, witches and the like. Last year, Mom had me wear this Pumpkin Sweater she bought for me, with a Ribbon on my ear. Mom's So Silly! At first I thought it might be a bad idea, but once I had it on and saw how cute I looked, I decided that Halloween might be fun for Doggies after all! Especially since Mom always gives me extra Kisses and Hugs when we play Dress-Up-The-Doggie. ~Dinky Daisy~

My Pretty Pepe, An AKC Long Haired Chihuahua.

What a sweet face he has! Pepe is the most loving and intelligent dog. Some Chihuahuas can be snippy and nervous, but not my Pepe. He loves people and always is ready to jump up on any available lap. He has a large vocabulary and understands everything we say. He knows all of our family and friends by name and even knows their dog's names, so you have to be careful what you say. He loves company so much that if you just say some one's name in a conversation, he will hop up and run to the door, hoping that that person is expected. He's so cute. He's 11 years old now and showing his age. This photo is a few years old. He's the father of Sadie's litter of 7 puppies, and he's the top dog around here. Whatever he says goes!

Dainty Dinky Daisy Framed With Daisys.

[Posted By Dinky Daisy.] Today my Daddy was viewing the Blog post from yesterday and played the music video of the song, "I'll Give You A Daisy A Day", and that's the song Mom sings to me all the time. When I heard the song playing on the computer, I started wagging my tail, and wagged it until the song was over. I know that's my own special song! I'm such a Smart Puppy! This photo of me was taken on May 5, 2008, My First Birthday. See how long my hair has grown! And aren't I pretty with my red necklace and hair-bow? I love to get dressed up to have my photo taken, and always pose myself so prettily. Click on the photo to see a Close-Up of my face. Mom says I have such expressive eyes! ~Dainty Dinky Daisy~

Dinky Daisy Chooses This Pumpkin For Her Jack-O-Lantern.

Halloween is only three weeks away! We'll carve a face on the pumpkin tonight and put a candle inside. (Photo most downloaded at Webshots, in the Home and Garden section, under the Sub-Category Pets, then in Chihuahuas, Oct. 12, 2007.)(Also in the Most Viewed Collection, Chihuahuas, Oct. 2007.)

Dinky Daisy is a Pomchi, or a Pomeranian Chihuahua. A Pomchi is one of the new Designer Dogs you hear about that the celebrities like to carry around in their purses. I carry Daisy around also. Everyone loves to meet her, and she's so friendly. If I put her down, she wags her tail at everyone. This photo was taken of Daisy last fall when she weighed 4 pounds. She now weighs 7 pounds. (Her Birthday is May 5, 2007.) She's a sweetie and a very good model. In this photo, she posed herself! All I did was put her on the table. She sure knows what to do and will stand real still for me, especially if I sing to her. Then she looks right at me and gets very calm and we have a good day together. I love her! I'm so blessed she came to live with me. Please come again because I have many nice photos of her to share. Take care, Doggie Kisses from Dinky Daisy and a Big Hug from Daisy's Mom, Carol Jean :) (PS, the song I sing to her goes, "I'll give you a Daisy a Day Dear, I'll give you a Daisy a Day, I'll love you until the Rivers run still, and the four winds we know blow away....") In the sidebar at the right of this page I've provided a link to a sweet music video of that song by Jud Strunk. I'm sure you'd enjoy it.

Meet Sophie, the Chihuahua. (Webshots Album Featured in Pets, Chihuahuas, Dec. 2007.)

Meet Sophie, the Smooth Coat Chihuahua. She has short hair that's very smooth and slick. I've had her for two and a half years and she's been a real joy! On the left is her baby photo. She has a look on her face like, "Are you listening to me?" and that's what she's actually saying. She was telling her Daddy, "It's time to turn off the TV and go to bed now! I'm tired and I want to crawl under my blanket on your bed." Sophie sleeps on my husband's bed, under her own little 101 Dalmatians Baby Blanket. She has her Daddy wrapped around her little doggie paw and he does whatever she asks. I wish he listened to me so well! Every evening they watch TV together and when she gets tired, she stands on his chest and puts her nose in his face and gives him that look, and then he says, "Is it time for bed? Are you tired?" and off they go, upstairs. When her Daddy isn't around, Sophie sleeps on pillows and crocheted baby blankets with Waldo. Waldo loves her very much. When he came here as a puppy, he adopted her for his mother. Here's a very short Video clip, of Waldo and Sophie together under their blanket. So Cute!

Short Video Of Waldo Jumping.

Video Of Waldo Jumping! Funny!

Click on the link above to see a short video I took this morning of Funny Waldo Jumping. He's jumping because he wants me to sit on the garden bench and put him in my lap. He's so funny, I just had to laugh. He jumps pretty high, too! I counted, and he jumped 14 times in 35 seconds! And just watch that tail wag, and his ears wiggle, trying to tell me with everything he's got what he wants! I hope you enjoy the video. ~Carol Jean~
